Adamson, Graham.
On leaving Riley, Graham undertook a 5 year Student Apprenticeship with Mullard Radio in Mitcham Surrey and studied for his HNC in Electronics and Communication Engineering which he passed with distinctions. After his apprenticeship, Graham married a local girl and moved slightly up the M1 to Stevenage, Herts working in Pye Audio in Stevenage where he was Production Test Manager with a staff building of just under 100. Meanwhile, they had two boys, born in 75 and 78.
Graham continued in production management until his early 50s when he was made redundant and found it difficult to get anybody to employ a 50+ year old. He therefore leased a Service Station - having moved to Leighton Buzzard - which he ran until 2007, with disastrous effect both on his finances and marriage (he separated in 2009). Graham is now semi-retired living "a life of old Riley", pardon the pun. Graham works part time in a kitchen locally and also does Santa work at Christmas and Kids Magic Workshops mid-year!
