The College Minivan Part 7

The First Show

At a recent Carnival in a village near Ormskirk, Lancashire

I've been using the van for going to and from work recently, just to make sure all is well and it gets an enormous amount of attention wherever it goes, which is rather nice.  My good friend and work colleague, Ken Levins is busy tidying up his 1990 mini and we both agreed that a show was on the cards and decided to have a crack at the annual GOF (gathering of the faithful) at the Ellesmere Port Boat museum, meticulously organised by the Wirral Mini Club.

That's Ken's Mini on the right of my Van, plus an ex works clubman on the far right.

That were a 'Grand day out' Grommit!

The icing on the cake came at the end of the day at the prize-giving, when the little van was awarded 'Best Privately entered vehicle' and a wonderful trophy came with it

The trophy won by the Van at the 4th GOF at Ellesmere Port
